Nobody knew the code to a 1960s safe left in a farmhouse study. Opened by manipulation, no drilling, and set to a new code.

The family had the will and the death certificate, but not the combination. The lock was a three-wheel mechanical one, so we listened our way through it rather than drilling. Inside: the deeds to the house and a box of rings. We set a new code, wrote it down for them and sealed it in an envelope.
