Back from a wedding with the keys still in the hotel. The front door opened without damage, and everybody was in bed by three.

The call came in at ten past two: a family of four on the doorstep, the keys forty miles away. The front door had a good anti-snap cylinder, so we left it alone and opened the door through the letterbox with a long-reach tool, after a neighbour vouched for them. Nothing to replace, nothing to repair.
